University of Strathclyde is based in Glasgow. The ‘place of useful learning’ was founded in 1796. Today, University of Strathclyde is a multi-award-winning university and the only University to have won the Times Higher Education University of the Year award twice (2012 and 2019). Over the years Strathclyde has been recognised across a variety of categories at the Times Higher Education awards. These include the coveted Business School of the Year and Workplace of the Year. The Stephen Young Institute for International Business is working in the areas of international and sustainable business, marketing, innovation and entrepreneurship. Building on the work of our namesake, Prof. Stephen Young, a former professor of SBS’s Marketing Department, the Institute focuses on relationships between people and organisations in value networks in an international business context. Consistent with the University’s values we aim to ensure equitable flows of value that are socially inclusive and diverse.
